The Ambler Theater is located at 108 E. Butler Ave in Ambler, PA and is a nonprofit, community-based movie theater that specializes in independent, art, and foreign films.

We are also one of the region's premier cinema destinations, offering, in addition to our regular programming, a variety of special events ranging from Saturday Kid's Matinees to classic Hollywood films. We regularly present local filmmakers and host discussion groups and lectures

Executive Director John Toner leads a tour through the Ambler Theater with tidbits about the history and renovation of the building.

"Ambler Theater, Inc." is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt nonprofit corportation which owns and runs the theater. Our current Board consists of: Phil Albright, President; Jeff Jones, Vice President; Ellen Kaplan, Treasurer; Carolyn Merlini, Secretary; Bernadette Dougherty, Gretchen Jackson, Michael S. Slone, John Westrum, Rico Joseph, Katie Moulton, Helen Nelson, Mary Claghorn, Charles Head, Jennifer Korman, and John Toner, Executive Director.
